USES OF ATM CARDS IN SHARIAH & LAW PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

Banks have developed, with other monetary institutions, numerous
services of ATM Cards. Masses are enjoying different uses of these
Cards round the clock. A gorgeous spread of ATM cards invited
Lawyers & Scholars to study its system with details of different
transactions to avoid issues among partners, relating to these cards. The
paper consists of Introduction to ATM Cards its uses and benefits ATM
cards along with Cyber Crimes through ATM Cards and Legal
Protection of Card Issuer & Card Holder. The major issue is
unawareness of common people about conditions and charges of the
ATM transactions whether they are legitimate or repugnant to Islamic
Laws to adopt or reject this bank product with a solution of Islamic
Banks, specially the Kuwait Finance House. In this article a legal study
of some important aspects of ATM cards has been focused for the
awareness of public and professionals that includes opinions of
classical scholars and modern jurists. Broad objectives of the study
have been constructed to address general introduction to ATM Cards,
to point out cybercrimes of these cards and legal protection of the
partners and analysis of their transactions to examine their legitimacy
