A CRITICAL STUDY OF HADITHS OF MUSTADRIK BY HAKIM REGARDING THE EXCELLENCE OF ETHICS

Abstract

The life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is the complete source of guidance for Muslims as it is based on the message of the Holy Qur’an. He possessed exemplary manners and qualities of his predecessor Prophets. The Qur’an witnesses that he has attained the best morals and ethics. Therefore, it has been observed that early hadith compilers, Sirah-writers and historians paid special attention to record the reports regarding his ethics and morals. Hakim is well-known expert of hadith of forth century of higra. He also collected significant reports in his Mustadrik. The present study is an endeavor to analyze the reports of Hakim’s Mustadrik.
