THE ROLE OF QUR’ANIC TEACHINGS IN GLOBAL INTERFAITH CONFERENCES: AN ANALYTICAL REVIEW

Quranic teachings are for the whole of mankind, there are plentiful keys in the Quran to live a life of interfaith harmony. Indeed, the Quran helps in developing attitudes in us that are conducive to living in harmony with people of different faiths and religions. The teachings of the Quran can prove instrumental in preventing conflicts and disputes among people of various religious beliefs. They promote principles of sympathetic understanding, veneration, and collaboration among different religious communities, which are crucial for fostering peaceful coexistence in an increasingly pluralistic world and diverse religious communities. These teachings not only encourage Muslims to engage with others respectfully but also serve as a foundation for building harmonious relationships across different faiths. This research work which has been written as a class assignment describes the role of the spiritual and divine teachings of The Holy Quran to promote interfaith dialogue and its influence on global conferences regarding this journey towards interfaith harmony and it concludes that the global interfaith conferences illustrate how interfaith initiatives inspired by Quranic principles can effectively promote dialogue, understanding, and cooperation among diverse religious communities
